1. Fagor Dishwasher Leaking Water:

You may notice that the water appears to be leaking from the bottom of the door.

This can happen when the water seal around the door is not properly installed. You may need to replace the seal.

However, you should inspect the water seal surrounding the door to ensure it is not broken, and you should get it fixed if it is damaged.

2. Water in the Drain:

If there is water in the drain, it is possible that the drain hose has come loose.

You should be able to see the hose from the bottom of the door, and if you can’t, then you may need to replace the drain hose.

3. Fagor Dishwasher Making Noise:

A number of things could cause a noisy dishwasher.

If the noise is only in the washing cycle, it may signify that the machine is not running properly.

If the noise is in both the washing and drying cycles, it could be caused by a worn-out belt or an electrical problem.

4. Water Leaking Out of Door:

If you see water leaking out of the door, this could be a sign that the door seal has been damaged.

You should be able to see the water seal from the bottom of the door. If you can’t, then you may need to replace the seal.

5. Fagor Dishwasher Not Draining Properly:

A build-up of water within the dishwasher might occur if the dishwasher is not draining properly.

The water inside the dishwasher may not be draining properly because of the presence of a blockage.

It’s also possible that you’ll need to replace the water inlet filter, which might be an expensive fix.

To get rid of any water build-up, use a drain cleaner. Consider running the dishwasher at a lower temperature to help drain the water more quickly.

Conclusion:

The Fagor dishwasher is a great product. However, if you notice any of the problems mentioned above, it is important to fix them as soon as possible.

If you don’t, you could be faced with a costly repair bill.

  1. My dishwasher leaks when it’s running. I’ve run it without any dishes in it and it still leaks. Door seal looks good. This machine is new and has been in service for 3 weeks. I called Fagor and get no return call.

  2. Our FI-48 W does not rinse. The wash cycle goes fine. The rinse cycle follows as it should, but does not rinse. It sounds like it is working, but there is no spray, and the dishes end up with a soap residue.

The dishwasher leaks, but not when its in operation. The system seems to fill when it’s switched off. Sometimes it runs when switched off, door open or closed.

    • Hello Nigel,

due to a bad check valve and backflow. If clean water is entering your dishwasher when it is not in use, there is probably a problem with the water intake valve. This is what? If unclean water is entering the dishwasher, there may be a problem with the drain hose’s check valve.
