Ariston Dishwasher Troubleshooting Guide

Below is a list of all the possible Ariston dishwasher problems and their solutions.

1. Ariston Dishwasher Not Draining:

One of the most common problems is that the dishwasher will not drain. You can test this by placing a plastic bag or a bowl under the drain.

If the water level in the dishwasher increases, the problem is in the drain. If the water level decreases, the problem is with the pump.

Solution: If the water level increases, check the drain and ensure that it is clear. You may also check for a clog by removing the drain cover.

If the water level decreases, check the pump. If the pump is faulty, replace it.

2. Ariston Dishwasher Not Drying Dishes:

If the dishwasher is not drying dishes properly, there could be a few possible causes.

  • Check the dishwasher door is closed.
  • If the door is open, check the rack is properly inserted.
  • Check the door latch is working.

This can also happen if the timer of the dishwasher is set to be delayed. This means that the timer will start after the dishwasher is done with the drying process.

You can easily fix this problem by setting the timer to be immediate. This way, the dishwasher will start drying as soon as the dishes are loaded.

3. Ariston Dishwasher Not Working:

It might be failing for any of the following reasons:

  • Your Dishwasher is not connected to the power source
  • The dishwasher is connected to the power source, but the power source is not working properly.
  • A dishwasher is not working due to a faulty motor

Indeed, the motor is the heart of the dishwasher, and if it is not working, it will not be able to wash your dishes.

If your dishwasher is not working, the best thing to do is to call Ariston repair services immediately.

They will have a team of professionals who will be able to identify the problem and fix it in a jiffy.

4. Dishwasher Not Completing Cycle:

There are several reasons why a dishwasher may not complete a cycle, and one of the most common reasons is a low water level.

It is very important to ensure that the water level in the dishwasher is at least one inch from the bottom of the rack.

If the water level is not at least one inch, the dishwasher will not be able to complete a cycle.

Another reason for a cycle not completing is a blocked drain hose. Make sure that the drain hose is not blocked; if it is, try unblocking it.

5. Dishwasher Making Loud Noise:

Dishwashers make different noises based on the different settings they are in.

If you hear loud noises from your dishwasher, it may be due to the presence of an object or materials in the dishwasher. It is best to check the following things to determine the cause of the noise.

First, check if there is any object or material at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Second, check if the dishwasher is full or not. If the dishwasher is full, it may be making a loud noise.

If the noise is coming from the door, then you can check if there is any malfunction with the latch or hinges; you can use a screwdriver to loosen the latch.

If the noise is coming from the inside of the dishwasher, check to see if the motor is malfunctioning.

6. Dishwasher Leaks:

If you are noticing water leaking from your dishwasher, it means that the seal between the dishwasher and the cabinet is not strong enough.

This is one of the most common reasons for dishwasher leaks.

Conclusion:

Ariston dishwashers are another of the most common home appliances.

While they have their advantages, several problems with these machines may need to be dealt with before they break.

    • Hello! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your dishwasher. The error code F13 generally indicates a problem with the dishwasher’s water inlet valve, which controls the flow of water into the machine. The flashing lights on the on/off and pause buttons suggest that the dishwasher is not able to start because it is not able to properly fill with water. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Turn off the power to the dishwasher by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that powers it. Wait a few minutes before turning the power back on, as this can sometimes reset the machine and clear the error code.

Check the dishwasher’s water supply. Make sure that the water valve supplying the dishwasher is turned on and that there are no kinks or blockages in the water line.

Inspect the dishwasher’s water inlet valve. If the valve is faulty, it may need to be replaced by a qualified technician.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the problem. They can help you determine the exact cause of the issue and provide you with the best solution for repairing your dishwasher.

    • If the ON/OFF button on your Ariston dishwasher model LFF8M132 C AUS won’t turn off, there could be a few different issues at play. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Power reset: Sometimes simply resetting the dishwasher can resolve the issue. Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker or unplug it from the outlet, wait a few minutes, and then turn the power back on. See if the ON/OFF button will turn off now.

Control board: If resetting the dishwasher doesn’t help, there may be an issue with the dishwasher’s control board. The control board is responsible for sending power to the different parts of the dishwasher, including the ON/OFF button. A malfunctioning control board could be preventing the ON/OFF button from turning off. In this case, you may need to have the control board replaced.

Wiring or switch: There could also be a problem with the wiring or switch that connects the ON/OFF button to the dishwasher’s control board. Check the wiring and switch to make sure they are properly connected and not damaged. If there is damage, you may need to have a professional repair it.

The button itself: Finally, it’s possible that the ON/OFF button itself is malfunctioning. If this is the case, you may need to have the button replaced.

It’s important to note that working on appliances can be dangerous, so if you’re not comfortable with troubleshooting or making repairs yourself, it’s best to contact a professional for assistance.

  3. Top shelf is cleaning great but the bottom isn’t cleaning properly.
I have checked the arms can move and the jets on the arms are all clear.
I even removed the bottom spinner and did a rinse cycle to check if there was a blockage further down but everything seems fine.

    • It’s possible that the problem is with the dishwasher’s pump or with the spray arm itself. If the arms are able to move freely and the jets are clear, then the issue may be with the pump not delivering enough water pressure to the lower spray arm. In this case, you may need to have a professional repair service check and potentially replace the pump. If the pump is functioning properly, the issue may be with the lower spray arm and it may need to be replaced.

    • Hello Ginny,

I hope you are doing great!
It’s possible that the anti-flood system has been engaged if the dishwasher is beeping and there are flashing lights nearby. This indicates that the sensors have ceased functioning to avoid flooding since they have discovered water in the casing. To remove extra water and sponge out the water in the device’s base, tilt the appliance.
