In reply to <a href="https://worstbrands.com/kogan-tv-review/#comment-5724">Michael Fewster</a>.

It sounds like you are very satisfied with your new Kogan 43" HDR Smart TV. The clear and sharp picture, easy setup, and compatibility with Chromecast and Google Play are all positive features. Additionally, the improved sound quality, specifically the ability to hear dialogue clearly, is a great improvement over your previous Samsung TV. It's also good to hear that you are not experiencing any interference issues while watching SBS and World Movies. Overall, it seems like the Kogan TV is living up to your expectations and providing a great viewing experience.

Just bought a Kogan 43" HDR Smart set.
Very pleased with it. Better in every way than I expected. Clear sharp picture. Easy to set up. Chromecast and Google Play work well.
The most unexpected good point is the sound. No, it doesn't have deep bass but I can hear dialogue clearly now. That is more important to me than bass.
My previous Samsung 32" Smart Tv had real problems with interference when watching SBS and World Movies. Not getting that issue on the new Kogan.

I brought a Kogan 50" 4K UHD HDR LED Smart TV Android TV (Series 9, XU9220) in January and I have had nothing but problems with it. Kogan customer service was difficult to deal with. After 4 months they finally sent a technician to replace a part on the TV which still did not fix the issues. Kogan then agreed to replace the TV unit with a slightly better functioning TV of the same model... Personally I would have preferred my money back so I could purchase another brand TV.. They may be cheaper but there is a good reason for this..
You get what you pay for...

I bought my Kogan 50" smart TV 27 months ago. It is now out awaiting "hard rubbish collection". A relative bought her 32" 18 months ago and has had problems over since. My other friend bought hers 18 months ago also, but luckily had taken out extra warranty, so all her problems got fixed. (But for how long?). My TV had started playing up 3-4 months ago. Suddenly wouldn't change channels, then yes/no depending on the day. Sound but no picture. Wouldn't turn on. Wouldn't turn off. Even trying everything manually. Never again a KOGAN TV! Am waiting on my CHiQ 55" to arrive. Hopefully will last a lot longer (especially with the 5 yr warranty).
