I presently have the Starfire Solaris tire on my car , tires came with the car when purchased and when it comes time to replace them will buy the same tires since , it's a smooth ride and very little noise on the Highway. Response well on wet surfaces and dry. Live in Florida so no experience with snow..

Starfire Solaris is a great choice for those who want a safe, premium tire, but don’t have a super premium budget. Good rain tire as it s made by Cooper, the Rain tire people. Have had them on my Camry for over 10 years. No worries and no disappointments. Each set lasted 49k to 49.5k miles. You can’t go wrong with a tire made by cooper.

The Starfire Solus do not wear well in terms of mileage. I will be lucky to get 30,000 miles on a Acura TSX. I do not push the car in terms of speed or cornering .

I bought these StarFire tires because the salesman at MountainView at Montclair CA. (now closed) Said they were made by Cooper Tires (I later found they were probably made in china-upsetting to me).. They are on a 98 silverado 265-75-16 - E rated 10ply 80psi(I run at 50psi) They have 35,000 miles and are almost 7 yrs old and ready for replacement.. I may get another 5,000 out of them.. Surprisingly a nice quiet tire and still drive decent for their age.. Traction is fair, but could be better.. So overall they did well, still look good with almost no visible cracking.. Cooper probably improved this brand they took over..
