The icemaker is likely to be defective in some cases. It could be either a mechanical or electronic problem, so it’s best to take it to a repair shop for proper diagnosis. You can also try cleaning the ice dispenser with a soft cloth to see if this helps.

The icemaker won’t dispense one or two cubes at a time. It releases a bucket full at once and I’m not sure if its broken or if I’ve done something as I just moved into this house.
