We have had to replace ours twice since 2019 (when we purchased the dishwasher.) Whirlpool who owns Maytag does not acknowledge the faulty parts.
The plastic part crumbles to pieces.

The date we bought our dishwasher was 18/11/09. It now has to be replaced due to motor “stuffed”. In you advertising is says they’re built to last 20 years, we thought our appliances would see us out, we are now 81 years old. Is this planned obsolescence? Very disappointing as it has been so good. The oven also needed a new element. So sad buying what we thought was the BEST….now we have to look again, maybe a 2 drawer model…
